Realme GT Neo 3 launched with new tech that charges the half battery in 5 minutes

Realme GT Neo 3 launched

Realme GT Neo 3 has officially been launched in China. The all-new GT Neo 3 looks radically different from its predecessor. The two-striped design on the GT Neo 3 looks inspired mostly by the 24 Hours of Le Mans event, and it offers the phone a unique aesthetic, even though it may not be enough to everyone’s satisfaction.

The GT Neo 3 features the brand-new MediaTek Dimensity 8100, a strong mid-range chipset but not as robust as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The smartphone also features the 150W fast charging technology, which charges the phone’s battery to full in less than 20 minutes.

Furthermore, Realme CEO Madhav Seth announced the worldwide launch of the Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro in March at MWC 2022. Yet, Seth intimated that the GT Neo 3 might arrive in the first part of 2022. The Realme GT Neo 2 was released in China in September 2019. Therefore the GT Neo 3 might be released in late September 2022.

The new GT Neo 3 from Realme claims to be able to charge half of the battery in only 5 minutes

Realme has officially verified that the GT Neo 3 smartphone is real and will be released shortly. Furthermore, the brand, which is now attending MWC 2022, revealed significant information regarding the forthcoming GT-series phone. The Realme GT Neo 3 will be the first phone from the brand to include the 150W UltraDart Fast Charging technology that can charge half of the phone’s battery in under 5 minutes. Realme has joined Oppo and OnePlus in claiming new advancements in smartphone battery charging. The GT Neo 3 will most likely be the first to use the technology before all the other smartphones do.

Realme hit the stage at MWC 2022 to showcase its revolutionary 150W UltraDart Charge technology, which claims to charge a phone’s battery in under 5 minutes.

Realme claims that its new charging technology will have three key aspects: multi-boost charging pumps, a temperature control algorithm, and a new lithium battery, all of which, when combined, will enable the GT Neo 3 and many other future smartphones to use the 150W charging technology.

Now, Realme was a bit unclear in advertising the benefits since the battery capacity was not confirmed. However, suppose previous developments in battery charging technology are any indication. In that case, businesses like Realme often make promises based on 4500mAh batteries with twin cells and other sophisticated technologies. The 150W UltraDart Charge technology provides a 50% battery charge in 5 minutes. Still, it also keeps the phone’s temperature below 43 degrees Celsius and retains 80% of the battery capacity even after 1,000 charge cycles.

According to the brand, realme’s 150W UltraDart Charge technology will also charge smart devices with a charging rate of up to 200W. The business did not indicate whether it refers to smart gadgets in general, which includes devices from all brands, or to its own devices, which will be released soon.

GT Neo 3 Specifications

The two battery types have model numbers RMX3560 and RMX3562, accordingly. The Snapdragon 888 CPU is also expected to power the gadget with the model number RMX3560.

Although the brand has not released any official information about the smartphone, its Geekbench and TENAA certifications provide some insight into its important features.
